  • Management trainee responsible for Lean initiatives in the Production & Operations team to improve the quality and to reduce the wastages(Muda).

    The job roles and responsibilities of my job includes

    Data collection , Report generation, and categorization of defects, which helps us to find most painful area by plotting those data with the help of Pareto Chart.

    Forming Quality circles for all the teams of most painful area(repeated errors/defects occurred during the day to day operations for which we have got feedback from the customers). We prepare the schedule for quality circle actions for the period of one month and continuously follow up the team and make them to do the necessary activities like
    Problem Identification , Brainstorming , Plotting Cause Effect diagram, Root Cause Analysis , and providing the counter measures of the problem , then implement those measures on the floor and we start monitoring the results for two weeks which leads to increase in quality of the product & customer satisfaction.

    Value stream mapping for end to end process so that the non value added activities gets eliminated which helps us to meet the turn around time of the customer .

    Skill mapping for mapping the current skill of the employee with the desired skill and giving consistent training to the employees by their respective function people which makes the employees to climb up the career ladder in short span of time.

    Organizing the kaizen presentation every month with our team which encourage the employees of our organization to give more kaizens every month which helps our organization to reduce the process time which leads to meet the customer demands and save money for the organization with quality product.

    By following the above activities we ensure that the productivity of the employees in the production team is increased with appropriate qualified output which matches the customers expectation.
