Why I can not speak correct english

My Question is why I can't speak right English when sometime I write very right english

  • Maybe because writting is in habbit but you are'nt talking in english every time .
    make it a fun activity..talk to ur frnds in english..watch english movies..listen to english songs with lyrics..
    it may be a slow process...but u'll be speaking fluently sooner or later.

  • due to thinking skill which is not fast if our grammar is correct but we can't speak correctly then must be we are not transforming sentences fastly.

  • The main issue of speaking correct English is to think in English.
    Start thinking in English and always try to speak to your self.
    Make yourself in an English environment,try to watch English t.v. series without any subtitles and try to understand every word and what they are meant to say,at first you may find it difficult,but once you get used to it you can understand every sentence and you can try to use them in your practice.
    Not to worry,no one's good in foreign languages by birth,it takes years of practice to master them.

  • Hi dear, You may face this problem because of lack of practise in communication.Also daily reading some books or newspapers can enhance your vocabulary and grammar too.plus practise makes man perfect therfore try to use english as your regular language

  • Dear Juweriya, one thing I would recommend is to read as much as you can especially dramas.Dramas are written in dialogues between people.
    And don't forget to read out loud because that's the only way to improve your speaking skill.You can pick any kind which interests you.
    Reading and writing are complementary to each other. The more you read, the more proficient you will be in writing. :)

  • You are not able to speak correct english because your english grammar fundamentals are weak. Just open a good grammar boom and brush up your basic grammar topics like tenses, articles, prepositions and speech. Then start reading newspapers or books in english so that you understand the correct way of speaking. Finally keep thinking in English and speaking english as much as possible. I think this should help you improve your English.

  • It's alright .it doesn't matter whether your grammer is correct or not they only want the matter which you are trying to express.Otherwise if you want to improve your speaking try to read english novels and thoghts comes in your mind and if you are thinking something in your mind try to think in english it improves your speaking.

  • Writing and speaking are different capabilities. Try to talk to self in english, then try to talk to your friends(who are ready to co-operate with you in mentoring you) also in english. After a few days you will also start speaking  in English convincingly

  • Well, in order to write and speak in english, you need to inculcate the habit of reading and writing at the same time. My love for english developed with the habit of reading. Reading helps in improving the speaking power. Also, whenever you sit to write, make sure that you follow the rules of grammar.
